What we collect,
and what we don’t

01What we collect

Only what we need to quote and carry out a clean. When you book through this website, the booking assistant, or by calling or texting us, we collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• The service address, and what you tell us about the property — size, frequency, add-ons, and how the crew should get in.
• Any notes you choose to add about the job.

We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and we never will. Payment is handled separately once a job is agreed.

02How we use it

To price your job, schedule it, send you a confirmation, and do the work. We also keep a record of past jobs so a returning client does not have to explain their home twice, and so recurring clients keep the same crew.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for advertising.

03Who else sees it

A small number of services we use to run the business:

• Jobber — our scheduling and invoicing system. Requests you submit through the booking form go here.
• Our email provider — booking notifications reach us by email.
• Anthropic — the booking assistant on this site is powered by Claude. What you type into the assistant is sent to Anthropic to generate a reply. Do not type anything into it you would not want handled that way — for a sensitive question, call or text us instead.
• Our web host — the company whose servers this website runs on.
• Google Maps — the maps on our service areas and booking pages are embedded from Google. Loading one of those pages loads the map from Google, which means Google can see that request. We use the map because a correct pin matters more than avoiding the embed, but nothing you type on this site is sent to it.

Our crews see the service address and access instructions for jobs they are assigned. Nothing more.

04Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking or analytics. The only thing we store in your browser is a short-lived note of what you selected in the price builder, so the booking page can show it back to you. That note stays on your device and clears when you close the tab.

The one exception is the embedded Google map on our service areas and booking pages. Google may set its own cookies when that map loads. Every other page on this site is free of third-party embeds.

05If you apply for a job with us

Our application form asks only what the job needs: how to reach you, where you live at town level, the roles and hours you want, how you will get to sites, your cleaning experience, and whether you can perform the physical parts of the work. That is it.

We deliberately do not ask for:

• Your Social Security number, bank details or a photo of your ID. No legitimate employer needs those before a job offer, and we never ask for them on a web form. If a site claiming to be us does, it is not us.
• Your salary or wage history, or your criminal record — New Jersey law restricts asking about both on an application, and neither predicts good work.
• Your date of birth, and nothing about race, religion, national origin, disability, health, pregnancy, or marital or family status.

Applications are stored on our web host in a folder that is not reachable from the internet, and only E&L sees them. We keep an application while we are hiring and for a reasonable period afterwards in case something suitable opens up, then delete it. Ask us at any time what we hold about you or to delete it.

If we offer you a job, a background check follows — and we will ask for your written consent to that separately, at that point, never through this website.

06How long we keep it

Client and job records are kept while you are a client and for as long afterwards as our accountant and the tax rules require. Website booking requests that never became jobs are kept for about a year, then deleted.

07Your choices

Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete your record where we are not required to keep it. Email info@eandlcleaningsolutions.com or call (973) 326-0068.

If you would rather not use the website at all, calling or texting (973) 326-0068 works exactly as well.

08Children

This site is meant for adults arranging a cleaning service. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

09Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. It was last updated 31 August 2026.
